Becker Plastics has over ten years of experience with coextruded plastic pipes. In these pipes, different polymers are joined together within one extrusion step. The fusion of the materials in the extrusion head under high pressure ensures a perfect connection of the layers without any weak points. Coextruded products are created in 3 and 5-layer structures and conform to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 21003. 5-layer structures also protect the oxygen barrier layer of heating pipes against mechanical influences and offer more safety.
